Pasqual Barretti

Pasqual Barretti is a nephrologist and hospital administrator. He completed his Doctorate in Pathophysiology in Clinical Medicine [Botucatu] from the State University of São Paulo Júlio de Mesquita Filho in 1997, held a Free Teaching competition in Nephrology in 2006 and for the position of Full Professor in 2018. He is currently Full Professor of nephrology at the Botucatu School of Medicine of the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho and Rector of . State University of São Paulo Júlio de Mesquita Filho. He has published 136 articles in specialized journals and 344 papers in events. It has 13 chapters of published books. Participated in 86 national and 13 international events. He supervised 7 masters dissertations, 11 doctoral theses, co-guided a masters thesis and 4 doctoral theses, was supervisor of a postdoctoral work, and guided 9 scientific initiation papers, 2 course completion papers, 1 specialization work and 4 technical training. He had 15 award-winning scientific papers. He works in the research area, with emphasis on the infectious complications of peritoneal dialysis.
